An experimental project made in GameMaker Studio. Programmed the following:
- Procedurally generated infinite world & navigation – adjacent blocks are drawn with every movement
- Continuous movement – i.e. not grid by grid
- Various block types – dirt, stone, coal, diamond etc
- Crafted tools – shovel, pickaxe, fishing pole
- Digging and placing blocks
- Inventory system
- Dropped items are collected by the player
- Item sweep animations
- Parallax effect
